Inspired by my time at MoneySuperMarket, I wanted to help people who are not that online savvy to save money online the easy way.

What supermarket do you prefer and why?

I like Waitrose due to the fact that they reduce items that are going out of date to often a 1p and the quality of food is good,  but can expensive, if you don’t plan what you need to rather than want to buy.

3 money saving tips for the kitchen

  1. If your cooked portion is too big, make it your packed lunch for tomorrow.
  2. Make a nice stew, it can last you the whole week.
  3. Frozen food can be healthy and cheap. I regularly  get frozen risotto and a £4 pack can last me 4 meals.

An expensive item you can’t live without in the kitchen and why?

Coconut oilGroovy Food Virgin Coconut Oil, £4.99, but last ages and makes frying food a lot healthier

What is your favourite recipe?

Spagetti Bolognese with a table spoon of honey, yum.

What is your favourite kitchen gadget?

It has to be the poached egg spoon, it drains the excess water from a poached egg without breaking it.

Who or what inspired you to cook?

My mum.
