Every Friday I will be bringing you another instalment of my guest series called Hungry Savers. I’ll be linking with fellow bloggers from all backgrounds, they will be giving their answers to food and money-related questions. Hopefully, you will find some great information and even a new blog to read, while learning a little bit about other bloggers. Hungry Savers will be live every Friday and I’ve got some awesome bloggers taking part! If you’re a blogger and want to take part in the Hungry Savers Series, then please get in touch. This weeks instalment is from Katy Kicker.

What supermarket do you prefer and why?
I absolutely love Aldi. It’s small, so I don’t spend hours there, and the prices are much more reasonable than other supermarkets. This means I can buy higher quality products, for a similar price to what I would pay for lower quality items elsewhere. Also I love the speedy checkout process. I can browse the store, do a weeks shop and be back in the car within 30 minutes!
3 money saving tips for the kitchen
- Meal plan for at least your dinner every single day.
- Love your leftovers. Use up old veggies or fruit in omelettes, smoothies or pasta sauces.
- Cook from scratch. I love to do this, when time allows, as not only does it save money but it is usually healthier too.
An expensive item you can’t live without in the kitchen and why?
What is your favourite recipe?
What is your favourite kitchen gadget?
