This air fryer loaded fries recipe is one of my favourite creations, they’re covered in yummy goodness and I just can’t get enough of them.
If you’re looking for air fryer side dishes this is the one you want. It’s a firm family favourite and every time I visit home I’m requested to make them. These air fryer loaded bacon and cheese fries aren’t exactly the healthiest of my air fryer recipes but it’s one of the yummiest.
I like to keep my recipes a bit more on the simple side so you don’t have to worry about loads of ingredients in the mix and you only have to top the air-fryer loaded cheese fries with spring onions if you really want to, I think it gives it a little more flavour and makes it look nicer though.
Air-Fried Loaded Fries Recipe
I love using my air fryer, I can just put it on and get on with other things that I have to do. I would also love to point out that the air fryer is a lot more efficient and energy saving so you don’t have to worry about keeping the lights on while you cook.
With these cheese and bacon loaded fries you’ll have to air fry the chips first and I’d suggest getting smaller or slim chips so that they cook faster. Just make sure you cook the bacon first before you add it to the cheese because the cheese won’t take long to melt. I know people who haven’t cooked the bacon first and then they’re left with either burnt chips or raw bacon, not nice!

Low-Calorie Air Fryer Fries Recipe. So this low-cal air fryer loaded chips recipe is far from low calorie! Sorry. Each portion of this recipe is going to cost you 274 calories. That means you might need to be a little more strict with your calories for the day if you’re going to enjoy this meal.
So like I said, this air fryer loaded fries recipe isn’t going to be healthy but it is going to be tasty that’s for sure. So enjoy it and try not to dwell on it!

Air Fryer Loaded Fries Recipe
Equipment
- Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Air Fryer [AF300UK]
- Chopping Board
- Knives
- Frying Pan
Ingredients
- 750 g Potatoes Peeled and chopped into thin chips fries
- 4 Slices Bacon Medalions All fat removed
- 60 g Low Fat Cheese Grated
- 1 Spring Onion / Scallion Thinly sliced
- Salt & Pepper
- FryLight / Low Calorie Spray Oil
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and chop them into thin chips, approximately 1/2 inch in thickness. Once they are chopped place them in a bowl of cold water.
- Drain your chips/fries and place them into the 2 air fryer draws.
- Spray with a little low calorie cooking spray and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Put them on air fry at 180°C / 350°F for 28 mins. Give them a shake at 14 minutes so that they all brown up.
- While the chips are cooking in the air fryer. Remove all visible fat from the bacon. Dice the bacon into small pieces and cook in a dry frying pan until they are fully cooked and crispy.
- Grate the cheese and place it into a bowl for later.
- Once the chips are cooked, sprinkle over the bacon and then the cheese and cook for 2 more minutes on air fry at 180°C / 350°F
- Now the cheese should be all melted, carefully remove the air fryer loaded fries from the air fryer, sprinkle with the spring onions and enjoy.
