With Swiss roll soaked in Sherry on the bottom

We bought a raspberry pavlova for pudding on Christmas Day but we were way too full to eat it! We are planning on having it tomorrow instead

  5. Rebecca Roberts

We had bread and butter pudding followed by a cheese board definitely a diet on Monday!

  6. As I’m not a fan of traditional Christmas pud, I had a syrup sponge with Brandy cream .. never again lol

  7. Pip Bennett

I had a hot mince pie with brandy butter (and then later on I had another mince pie with double cream!)

  8. We had home made Christmas Pudding made by me and Black Forest Roulade from Lidl and both were yummy

  9. Kelly Roxanne Smith

If anything then cheese and biscuits as Iโ€™m normally too full by that point ๐Ÿ˜น๐Ÿ˜น

  10. Lindsey Cross

We enjoy something different each year but it has to be rich and chocolatey served with brandy cream. Yummy

  11. Megan Kinsey

We had Christmas Pudding! I also made my first ever Yule Log, with lots of brandy in the filling.

  12. Caroline Hammond

I made all of our Christmas puds this year so we had a choice of cheesecake, Tiramisu, black currant and white chocolate flapjacks, millionaire shortbread and chocolate Christmas tree churros

  13. JANET EMPSON

SHERRY TRIFLE or a plain one as son says you shouldn’t have alcohol in food! also use angel delight (so 70s) instead of custard

  14. Jean Cassell

Weโ€™ve postponed our family Christmas until June and Iโ€™m going to throw the works at it .

  15. We always finish off our meal with some crackers and cheese, I dont have a sweet tooth so rarely make a desert

  16. We usually have Christmas Pudding, but I forgot to buy one this year, so we didn’t have a dessert ๐Ÿ™‚

  17. Christine Purcell

Irish Cream Dome Gateau from Iceland. Not somewhere I normally shop and it as fantastic for ยฃ3.

  18. Lyndsey cooksey

My husband always makes a Baileys cheesecake for our dessert. Mmm I can taste it now!

  19. christine reid

We dont really have one as too full from lunch, but mince pies and irish coffee will be enjoyed later.

  20. Emma Wolski

Hopefully xmas pudding although my other half’s mum likes Black Forest Gateau (not a fan!!) and we are going there so I may have a mince pie instead lol!

  21. Irene Gilmour

this year we are having homemade cheese cake and yule log well it is christmas one dessert is not enough

  22. Carly Belsey

No one other than me likes Christmas Pud so it looks like it will be mince pies and cream in this house but just ice cream for the kids! They are a boring lot

  23. Caroline Tinsley

We’re planning a cream tea instead of the usual Christmas roast, so we’ll have scones and cakes

  24. For desert we have a choice, we have a jaffa cake cheesecake, big eclair from Asda, mince pies or a white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake but we’re probably going to buy more, it’s for a few people not just me!

  25. We call it “black forest trifle” – I make it like a trifle using chocolate swiss roll, brandy, bottled cherries, chocolate ganache, cream, more cherries and of course more chocolate.
