Classic Kitchen ~ Cookies in a Bottle

I was given a great Christmas present and I thought it was about time that I used it. It is Classic Kitchen ~ Triple Chocolate Shortbread Cookies in a Bottle. The mixture is a simple “just as butter”. Now I have used pre-made mixes in the past and have had mixed results some from absolute amazing and other a disaster. So when I got this bottle of mix, I have to be honest and say that I was looking forwrads to making them.

All that you have to do is put 60g of butter and pour the mixture into a bowl. Once all combined it will make 8 cookies. Right, I will be honest, the mixture was more like breadcrumbs with 60g of butter, so it had to have a little more adding to it to get the mixture into the right consistancy, you will have to use your own judgement on it, just add a little extra at a time.

Fancy making something else? Then why not check out my other recipes here.

As you can see from the pictures, the cookies have turned out great and best of all, they are actually really nice, for a mixture that makes 8 cookies, not too gooey, no too hard, they are actually really good, I want to try them again and maybe some of the different varieties available.

Now the Classic Kitchen has a range of these different mixtures in a bottle, they include cookies, muffins, cupcakes and flapjacks, I would love to try some of the others, especially if the triple chocolate shortbread cookies are anything to go by. If you are wondering where you can get them from, well I have seen them in Wilko, but haven’t seen anywhere online to get them from, well not yet anyway. If you have tried these before, what were your thoughts? How did they turn out?
