Summer Berry Smoothie

With the summer finally here, this Summer Berry Smoothie recipe is a great way to get that little bit of extra fruit into your diet, enjoying something cold but packed full of flavour.

Before I go into the recipe I must highlight thing here. Smoothies are NOT syn free. You may be thinking why when it is just juice, ice and fruit, well when you change the properties of food from their original, it then does have a syn value as you can easily overeat on these and do the opposite for what you want to achieve.


Serves: 2 – 3 people

Time: 20 mins Prep, 30 – 40 minutes cooking

Syns: 6 syns



  • 250g Frozen Summer Berry Fruits
  • 400ml Fruit Juice
  • Ice Cubes


  1. Put the frozen summer berries, juice and ice into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth
  3. Serve in a nice glass and enjoy in the summer sun.
