Ingredients

  • 150 g Self Raising Flour 24 syns
  • 4 tbsp Golden Syrup 10 syns
  • 2 tbsp Black Treacle 4 syns
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower Oil 12 syns
  • 6 Eggs
  • 6 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder 1 syn

Instructions

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
  • Add all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix together until thoroughly combined.
  • Pour the cake mixture into the silicone baking tin and make for 20 minutes.
  • Check that the cake is fully cooked by using a skewer. Put a skewer into the middle of the cake, if it comes out clear, its baked, if there is wet mixture, then leave in the oven for another 5 minutes, and repeat.
  • Once cooked, leave to cool.
  • Cut into 24 even pieces and enjoy.
