I’m not going to take all of the credit and say that I made these and didn’t need any equipment, so I would rather show you the equipment that I used, so you can get your own and make these amazing baked doughnuts.
Prosecco Popcorn Doughnuts Recipe
Baked Prosecco Popcorn Doughnuts
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 500 g Plain Flour
- 2 tsp Sukrin 1 or Sweetener
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 245 ml Skimmed Milk or Milk Alternative
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tbsp Low Fat Spread Melted
- 1 tbsp Sugar Free Syrup
- 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
For the Topping:
- 1 Bar White Chocolate
- 2 tbsp Joe & Seph’s Prosecco Caramel Sauce
- Joe & Seph’s Prosecco Popcorn
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190℃ / 375℉.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl combine the eggs, milk, syrup, melted low fat spread, and vanilla extract.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine until smooth. Don’t over mix the doughnut mixture.
- Fill each doughnut mould 3/4’s full.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until they are golden-coloured.
- Remove the doughnuts from the oven and allow them to cool for 10 minutes in the pan. Carefully remove them and leave them to cool on a wire rack.
- While the doughnuts are cooling, prepare the topping. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave safe bowl in 30 seconds blasts until it is all melted, mix between blasts.
- Using a dinner knife or piping bag, drizzle the white chocolate over the doughnuts in a nice fancy style.
- In a microwave safe bowl, put the Joe & Seph’s Prosecco Caramel Sauce and heat for 30 seconds. Now in the same style, drizzle the caramel over the doughnuts.
- Top with Joe & Seph’s Prosecco Popcorn and leave to cool.
- Enjoy them with friends, work colleagues or whoever you like.
