I love creme eggs, I can’t get enough of them and I end up buying way too many when it comes to Easter time that’s for sure! This year I’ve been using creme eggs and even mini eggs in a whole host of recipes. These cream egg cookies are one of them!
If you love easter recipes this one is one of the best I’ve made. I took it along to a bakers group that I go to once a month and they were complimented highly that’s for sure. If you want a creme egg recipe that’s going to impress and taste great, this is the one.
Cadbury Creme Egg Chocolate Brownie Cookies
Some people call these creme egg cookies and other people call them creme egg biscuits, either way, they are creme egg and they are delicious. The cookies I use are brownie cookies, you can make the dough ahead of time as I did and then freeze it in a sandwich bag. Make the sandwich bag into a sausage shape so it’s easier to cut up when you go to use it.
You can also buy the ready-made cookie dough from the store if you want to make them quickly, that is the more expensive option though and I like to save money while making amazing recipes. I will do a freezable cookie dough recipe soon, as soon as I’ve written this one I promise.
When it comes to these Cadbury creme egg cookies, all you have to do is wait for the cookies to cool down for a couple of minutes and then slot half of the creme egg on top of the cookie. I like them intact although my partner thinks that the broken-up ones with the white centre leaking everywhere looked better, what do you think?
Healthy Creme Egg Cookies?
These cookies are in no way healthy, I’m sorry. If you’re here looking for slimming world cookies or low-calorie biscuits, you’re in the wrong place. I will, however, tell you how many syns and calories are per portion as I know a lot of my audience want to know.
Slimming World Creme Egg Cookies – 10 Syns
These SW creme egg cookies are full of syns I’m afraid. Each cookie is going to cost you 10 syns and that’s quite a lot. I would suggest maybe making this Slimming World Low Syn Chocolate Cake Squares recipe instead.
Low-Calorie Creme Egg Cookies – 202 calories
Yep, no low calories here I’m afraid. These cookies are packed full of calories but are they worth it? I think they are. Each cookie is going to cost you 202 calories which is low, that’s like a quarter of my daily calorie allowance. So you have to decide are these Cadbury Creme Egg Chocolate Brownie Cookies worth it.

I know some people won’t like these creme egg biscuits, not everyone likes creme eggs. You can always replace the creme eggs with mini eggs but you’ll need a lot more of them so buy 5 – 6 packets in my opinion and anything left over, just eat or make another recipe with them.
The recipe card for these Cadbury Creme Egg chocolate brownie cookies is below, it makes 10-12 cookies but if you need more you can always double the recipe. It all depends on who you’re making them for. If you’re taking them into work with a team of 12 it wouldn’t make sense only making 10 or on the flip side, making 40.
