It’s time to get fudgey! I love fudge, I love making fudge and I love eating fudge. I also love easter eggs so it makes sense that I’d make this mini egg fudge right? I’ve been thinking about making this easter fudge recipe for a while now, I wasn’t sure if it would work as it’s in the air fryer but I’m so glad that it did.
When it comes to the various fudge recipes I’ve done in the past I’ve always used the slow cooker, but as the name would suggest it can be a little slow. The fudge tastes amazing but it also takes a long time to set so you’re initially waiting a whole day for some fudge and I can’t be the only one that hates waiting right?
This easy fudge recipe is the perfect easter treat for all the family. It’s easily enjoyable, tastes delicious and is much cheaper than an easter egg with the current prices going up. Plus who doesn’t love using an air fryer? I have the (Ninja Foodi Dual Zone 7.6L Air Fryer AF3), which is amazing.
Air Fryer Mini Egg Fudge Recipe
So easter to me is all about the chocolate, right? However, easter eggs are becoming more and more expensive which is really annoying and personally, I’ve given up buying them now. I will say that mini eggs have also gone up in price but the Aldi mini eggs haven’t and they taste just as good, they’re the ones I used in this recipe and you’d never have known.
Air fryer fudge is something I’ve been toying with and I’m so glad I took the plunge. The fudge tastes great and in a fraction of the time that it would take in the slow cooker. I have nothing against slow cooker fudge recipes, I just want to be able to enjoy my fudge a little quicker.
Although this mini egg fudge recipe is amazing I’m also going to be making an air fryer creme egg fudge recipe as well so keep your eyes peeled for that one. Creme eggs are my partner’s favourite so I doubt the fudge will last that long at all!
