Now when you’re following a healthy lifestyle, it can be hard to find decent snacks that you know are 100% vegan and are not fruit or vegetable sticks. Snacks are not just food but also drinks as well, there is more drinks that are suitable for vegans. There are far more great foods and drinks to snack on and I want to show you come of the fantastic snacks that I have come across.

Abakus Seaweed Crisps

The first up on the snack lists is Abakus Seaweed Crisps. These crisps come in 3 flavours, salted, salt and vinegar and cheese. I really enjoyed the salted and salt and vinegar ones most.

Now if you think these will taste weird because it’s seaweed, then you will be wrong in your opinion. The ingredients of these crisps are Tapioca (39%), seaweed (nori) (27%), non-GMO corn oil, rice, sea salt, onion powder, then the flavours that are added on top.

Akbas Seaweed Crisps

These crisps are available directly from Abakus’ website and also Holland and Barrets, the Seaweed Crisps have an RRP of £1.29 per bag. These slimming world vegan seaweed crisps come in at 1.5 syns per packet, so they are perfect for snacking on.

Nexba Water

If you’ve never heard of Nexba, it is flavoured sparkling water, which has been made in Australia and now hitting the supermarket stores in the UK. Nexba is actually the number one naturally Sugar-Free soft drinks. There are 3 of flavours and they are Coconut and Mango, Strawberry & Raspberry and Cucumber and Mint.

I have tried all 3 flavours and I have to admit, they are really really nice, especially ice cold. These are perfect in the summer sun, sitting in the garden or even when you’re at work.

Nexba Sparkling Water

Nexba is sold in 1 litre bottles and these cost £1.40 or two 4x330ml can multipacks, which is being released soon. If you’re wondering if these vegan drinks contain any syns, well you will be pleased to know that they are syn FREE.

Squirrel Sisters – Protein Bars

Squirrel Sisters made some delicious protein bars, which are all plant-based, sugar-free, gluten-free and a great source of fibre and protein. There are 4 flavours to choose from, there are Cacao Brownie, Cacao Orange, Peanut Raspberry and Peanut Caramel. I have personally only tried two of the flavours and they were Cacao Brownie and Peanut Caramel, which were very nice indeed.

They can be ordered directly from the Squirrel Sisters website and also from Waitrose, they cost £1.50 per protein bar.

They are made out of nuts and fruits such as dates, these are perfect for on the go or a snack between meals. As a vegan snack, these are high on syns, they come it at 8 syns per bar. As you could have one for lunch, you can get away with it, as long as you don’t go over your syns for the day.

Mr Lee’s Noodles

If you’ve not heard of Mr Lee’s Noodles, they are similar to Pot Noodles, however, they are a million times better. All Mr Lee’s Noodles are low in sugar, low in calories and certified gluten free with two vegan flavours available which are Zen Garden Vegetables and Dragon Fire Vegetables.

The noodle pots are awesome, tasty and just what you need for lunch or a snack. They are available from Amazon, Ocado and Asda, they cost £2.50 a pot. The noodles have between 1.5 – 2 syns per pot. Meaning that as a vegan snack, this slimming world vegan snack is ideal.

Cranes Cider

Now to give you something a little different, did you know that there is a vegan cider? Well if you didn’t you now do.

Cranes have a FANTASTIC cinder which is suitable for vegans. They come in 3 wonderful flavours and they are Blueberries and Apples; Cranberries and Limes and Raspberries and Pomegranates. You can get Cranes Cider in a fantastic gift set, which looks amazing and would make for a perfect gift.

You can buy the bottles in packs of 8 or as a gift set, so you have some options depending upon what you want. If you do get the gift set, it comes with a Crane Cider branded glass.

If you’re wondering how many syns are in Cranes Cider, then it comes in at 7 syns per bottle. So as a vegan slimming world snack, it is not the worst for syn.
