These air fryer chickpeas are so easy anyone could make them. Plus, you can top them with any seasoning you want and personally I like mine with a kick but I know that’s not everyone’s taste. They can be as mild or spicy as you want and suddenly chickpeas aren’t just that tin you have sitting at the back of your cupboard but a nice snack to munch on, nice and crispy too.

My Ninja Foodi has saved my life in more than one instance. Sometimes I get home late from work and hate cooking but I can easily throw something in the air fryer like these air fryer frozen chicken nuggets and I’ve got dinner in no time. These chickpeas don’t take as much time as they would in the oven and the Ninja Foodi has various settings so you can air fryer them, bake them, roast them and just have fun with them and their flavours.
If you’re making these air fried chick peas then I’d love to know how they turned out. One bit of advice I have is that they may look done but taste test one of them to make sure they’re not still soft in the middle otherwise they’ll go soggy and you won’t be able to eat them.

Air Fry Chickpeas Ninja Foodi
Instructions
- Open the chickpeas and drain in a colander.
- Once the chickpeas are drained, place them in a bowl. Add the oil and mix the chickpeas until they are all coated.
- Add the spice and mix the chickpeas until they are all coated.
- Pour the chickpeas into the air fryer and cook at 180℃ / 350℉ for 15 minutes.
- Give the chickpeas a shake half way through.
- Once they are cooked, allow to cool and place in an air tight container and use as a snack.
