This air fryer chip recipe is one of the favourites I make in my air fryer (Ninja Foodi Dual Zone 7.6L Air Fryer AF3) and I hope others love it as much as I do.

Air Fryer Chips Recipe
So I have a couple of tips for making these air fryer chips. I know a lot of people love to coat them in tons of oil but it’s not needed. I either use frylight or a little oil on my chips before they go on the air fryer. I use this because any herbs that I’m putting on them will stick easier and the flavour will stick around.
Does it matter what potatoes I use in the air fryer? Nope! I use the amazing and very cheap wonky potatoes from Aldi. They cost a lot less, taste the same and still come out the same way in the air fryer so you have no worries there.
If you fancy some crispy chips then leave them in a little longer. It’s also wise that you stop halfway through and give them a shake around so they all cook evenly and don’t get burnt on the top and not cooked the bottom!
Slimming World Air Fryer Chips Recipe
So taking into account that you’re going to need to use either oil or frylight on these air-fried chips, they won’t be syn free if you use oil but they are with Frylight. When you make this slimming world air fryer chips recipe it’s important to measure out the oil used otherwise you’ll not be able to keep track of syns.
This slimming world air fryer chips recipe has zero syns per portion which if you ask me is perfect. Which means you can enjoy them as much as you want. You can add any herbs or spices on top as well which as we all know are syn free!
Low-Calorie Air Fryer Chips Recipe
As we all know, potatoes do hold a few calories I’m afraid. Oil, well that also has calories as well. Each portion of these low-calorie air fryer chips will be 122 calories. If you’re going to use more potatoes or oil, use an app like Nutrachecker and measure out everything that you have so you can get a better guess on the calories.
One top tip. If you want to make this a real low-calorie air fryer chips recipe, use frylight instead of oil because it’s only 1 calorie per spray!
