Slimming World Blackberry Overnight Oats Recipe

There’s something about tasty overnight oats in the morning just gets me ready to go and wakes me up. I’m not sure if it’s the flavour, the texture or just because they look amazing but I love having them.

This blackberry overnight oats recipe is packed with so much flavour it’s bound to wake you up in no time. What I will say is make sure you stick to the ingredients, due to using frozen fruit you don’t want to make it too wet otherwise you’ll wake up with slop to look forward to.

I like to use frozen fruit in my overnight oats because it’s easier to use, you can store it for long periods of time and I find they’re cheaper to buy over fresh fruit. I hate that unhealthy food is cheaper to buy over fruit and I find that frozen fruit is a way to get around this.

Why I Love Overnight Oats?

I’ve been making overnight oats for a while now. I find them super easy to make and you can have them ready in literally 10 minutes. I don’t always have the time in the morning to make a healthy slimming world breakfast and I’m sure loads of other people are in the same boat.

I also love that you can make so many flavours when it comes to how to make overnight oats. I have an extensive range on Matts Cafe at the moment and one of the favourites my followers are loving are my chocolate orange overnight oats.

I’m always on the lookout for new overnight oat recipes though so if you have any suggestions on what I can make, let me know in the comments below!

I also love the fact that overnight oats look like total mush when you mix everything together but in the morning they taste so good, looks can lie!

How Many Syns In Blackberry Overnight Oats

So just like any of my overnight oat recipes, there’s syns! I would love to make a syn free overnight oat recipe that I can 100% say tastes amazing but I really can’t. I’ve tried syn free overnight oats and they just don’t hit the spot for me. What I will say is low syn overnight oat recipes are where it’s at!

You’ll be please to know that this slimming world overnight oats recipe is syn free if you use the porridge oats as your Healthy Extra B, otherwise, it has 7 syns in! Which I would like to say is amazing! I hate starting my day off by using loads of syns but at the same time if I use some, it gives me the motivation to exercise a little more, maybe walk to work and not drive.

So if you’re looking for a healthy overnight oats recipe for weight loss, these will help you but it’ll take a little longer. If you want to eat a syn free overnight oats recipe that tastes like soggy cardboard, go ahead however I find that doing that means I don’t stay on the slimming world journey often.
