Easy easter cheesecake recipe

I’ve started something new this year, I think it’s time to get my naughty on. Don’t get me wrong, I have LOADS of slimming world recipes and much more on the way so if you’re following the slimming world journey, I haven’t abandoned you!

I decided to kick off being a little more naughty with this amazing easter recipe. If you’ve seen these easter egg cheesecakes all over social media, you’ll know exactly what I’ve gone and made! Cheesecake filled easter eggs wasn’t something I thought I’d ever make but I’m so glad that I did.

Why Make Easter Egg Filled Cheesecakes?

Why not? Easter recipes are always the same and they start to get a little bit boring after a while don’t you think? These easter egg cheesecakes take easter and give it a spin and it tastes good!

One thing I will say about this recipe, the easter eggs melt really fast when you’re doing a recipe like this so make sure you keep them in the fridge and put them in the fridge in between the stages. It could have just been my boiling flat and that’s why they kept melting but that’s my suggestion.

If you want a healthier easter recipe I would suggest taking a look at this Chocolate Easter Egg Rice Crispy Nest Baskets recipe and making them. They’re super yummy and just as fun to make, also a great children’s easter recipe!

Easter Recipes UK

Something that I found out in the last couple of weeks totally amazed me. They don’t have big easter eggs in America as we do in the UK. They have creme eggs but they don’t have easter eggs, which I just find mad! Was it just me that thought that Easter eggs were worldwide?

The thing I love about Easter recipes is that they can be anything you want them to be! I will admit I’m not the best at making things look “pretty”. I like to think that my food tastes amazing and they don’t have to look like they’re out of a professional kitchen.

My slimming world meals are full of tasty ingredients which make them worth having. I’m on a mission to find naughty foods that are worth eating calories for. These cheesecake easter eggs are totally worth it and I recommend them fully. The great part is you can decorate them any way that you want!

Remember you can top these easter cheesecakes with whatever you want. We didn’t have any mini eggs to hand so we used normal creme eggs, imported chocolate creme eggs that my partner loves and marshmallows on top of our egg cheesecakes!
