I love overnight oats and they’re super easy to make with minimal effort. If you’re pressed for time in the morning, they are the perfect slimming world breakfast idea!
I know there’s are loads of overnight oat recipes out there and they all have their little take on things but if you’re looking for something full of flavour, that looks amazing and is easy to make, strawberry overnight oats is the way to go.
This overnight oats recipe tasted so much you could say it was like a strawberry milkshake overnight oats recipe, it tasted that good. Have you ever even heard of strawberry milkshake overnight oats? Me neither but it’s nice!
Strawberry Overnight Oats
If you’re looking for a healthy overnight oats recipe, this one ticks the boxes. However, please don’t get confused because these are not strawberry jam overnight oats, I’ve had a few questions about that and I find that the strawberry jam overnight oats recipe has more syns and empty calories.
The thing you want to remember when you make this recipe is to follow the recipe card! Don’t go adding more yoghurt because you think it looks dry, otherwise, you’ll end up with slop for breakfast and you’ll just end up getting a McDonalds and regretting it!
I’ve made this recipe a few times and have to say it’s one of my favourites. I use frozen strawberries as it’s more convenient for me and cheaper as well. I hate that healthy food has to be so expensive sometimes.
How Many Syns In Strawberry Overnight Oats?
You might think that these overnight oats are packed with syns? Well, I can understand that considering how good they look! However you’d be mistaken, they’re syn free if you use the porridge oats as your Healthy Extra B, if not, they’re only 7 syns per jar! This means you can start your day off right!
If you’re looking for a low syn breakfast idea, well this low syn slimming world breakfast is the one you have to try! I find that a syn free breakfast is all well and good but I like to start my day with a treat!
