I’m all for sweet treats here at Mattscafe and there’s nothing sweeter than a cake pop. When you think, slimming world Christmas I have to say it sounds boring and like you’re going to enjoy absolutely nothing! However if you want slimming world Christmas party food recipes stay tuned!

Now I don’t have a slimming world Christmas cake recipe, however if you do want something a little more traditional check out my slimming world mince pie recipe, they’re to die for and only 2 syns a pie! The great thing with these Christmas cake pops, you can decorate them with anything you want, although make sure you know the syns to any toppings you want to add, that’s where they might cost you!

Slimming world Christmas treats are hard to come by and you won’t find them in the shops unless you want to use a lot of syns. Slimming world treats are few and far between which isn’t the best, sticking to any diet can be tough so it’s always good to have a healthy treat now and again! I have a low syn slimming world snack list where you can find loads of snack ideas, but for now we’re talking about Christmas! Thankfully these cake pops are only bitesize so you won’t have to worry about putting weight back on with them slimming world Christmas desserts as long as you stick to the ones with less syns!

If you have guests or parties to attend and you’re thinking what slimming world Christmas snacks can I take so I don’t get tempted by the treats everyone else is taking, these are the best! They look great, low syn and people will love them. You might even be asked to take something each to a group meeting for Christmas and if you want to impress everyone I’d totally recommend these as a nice slimming world Christmas ideas and you just know everyone will be talking about them!

How Many Syns In Slimming World Cake Pops?

You might be thinking that all slimming world Christmas food is going to be loaded with syns, after all Christmas is that time of year when any diet, meal plan or understanding of what day it is goes out the window! I mean if you’re not planning a slimming world Christmas dinner then you might feel really naughty after and that’s why I’m happy to say that this Christmas cake pops recipe only have 3 syns per pop!

Christmas Cake Pops Recipe

This recipe will make 20 cake pops in total, you can adjust the recipe to make more or less.

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g Self Raising flour 16
  • 100 ml Skimmed Milk 2 syns
  • 100 g Jordan’s Skinny Sweetener
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 1 Medium Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 100 g Milk Chocolate 7 Syns

Instructions
 

  • Add all the dry ingredients into a bowl.
  • Add the Vanilla, Milk and Egg into the dry ingredients and mix well until you have a batter with no lumps.
  • Spoon the batter into the cake pop machine and cook for 6 – 8 minutes, until the cake pops are golden brown.
  • Once the cake pops are cooked, take them out and place them on a wire rack to cool.
  • Once the cake pops are cool, it is time to make the topping.
  • Put the chocolate into a heatproof dish and place on top of a pan of water. If you don’t want to use a pan of hot water, melt the chocolate in a microwave, for 30 second bursts, mixing the chocolate every 30 seconds.
  • Once the chocolate is melted properly, dunk the cake pops into the chocolate and then put onto a wire rack. Sprinkle over the spinkles of your choice.
  • Once all the cake pops are ready, place in the fridge for 30 – 60 minutes until the chocolate has hardened. Once they are hard, put a cake pop stick into the bottom of the cake pop.
  • Serve the cake pops in a milkshake glass and enjoy!!

Slimming World Cake Pops Cost

Cake pops can be made in any flavour, they don’t have to be vanilla, you could make unicorn, chocolate, orange, lemon and so much more. The only thing you have to do is make sure that you have the cake mixture correct.

As you can have any flavour you want, you may want to experiment with the flavours, one that does work is a true christmas flavour and that is mixed spice, which will make your kitchen smell like christmas.

Cake pops can be served on sticks like I have done, but they can also be served on a plate, just as long as they are decorated, I’m sure everyone will enjoy them.

If you haven’t done so already, you need a cake pop maker, this would make a perfect gift under the tree this Christmas. While you’re at it, you may want to look for some cake pop sticks, check these ones out, they are perfect stocking filler.
