Cookies, I love cookies but there’s only so many chocolate cookies you can eat before you start to feel bad and then finally remember that you’re still following the slimming world plan! We’ve all been there and that’s no problem at all.
I’ve made loads of naughty recipes, like this amazing diet coke chocolate cake recipe. Sure it has syns but they’re well worth it. I have seen loads of slimming world cake recipes and that’s great but hardly any slimming world cookie recipes and that’s got to change!
I’ve made loads of slimming world porridge oats recipes, for example, I can’t get enough of my slimming world overnight oats recipes and I carry on making them! When it comes to slimming world breakfast ideas though these cookies are much more! These are amazing low syn breakfast biscuits and they taste amazing!
Making Porridge Oats Slimming World Cookies
These low syn cookies are so easy to make, I whip them up in no time and everyone is able to enjoy them. Slimming world oat cookies might sound weird but they work really well and with the drizzled chocolate on top, it just completes them.
I mean healthy cookie recipes aren’t really something people want to be making because they don’t sound like they’ll fun. This slimming world biscuit recipe sounds dull but tastes amazing. I’ve made them several times and I can’t get enough.
When you’re making these cookies I really say that you need to make sure you leave them in the oven for the correct time. Otherwise, they can have a soggy bottom and Mary wouldn’t be impressed! Also, make sure you transfer them to a decent wire rack after baking so they don’t get soggy sat on the baking tray.
The mixture might look a little too wet but that’s fine. They’re supposed to look wet and they bake to a nice crisp biscuit texture as long as you cook them long enough.
How Many Syns In Slimming World Oatmeal Cookies?
You might be thinking cookies means they’re full of syns, don’t worry because they aren’t! One cookie is going to set you back a maximum of 2 syns! That’s hardly anything. It’s mainly the chocolate which is going to set you back but in my opinion, they don’t work without it. If you use the oats as your Healthy Extra B, then they become 1 syn each. If you don’t include the chocolate, then these are syn free!!!
If you want something that’s got a few more syns, taste amazing and is a very naughty treat for the end of the day, try this slimming world lemon muffins recipe, sure they’re 9 syns per muffin but they’re totally worth every bite!
At the same time, if you’re looking for a cheap cookie recipe, this is it. I know a lot of people are looking for budget meal ideas and cheap recipes to make and I love it. My recipes all come with a cost breakdown in the recipe card so you can see just how much you have to pay.
