Christmas is all about festive food and there’s nothing more festive than a mince pie, so I decided to make this mince pie fudge recipe. It’s bursting with festive flavours, it’s super tasty and so moreish. If you’re looking to make a tasty festive recipe this slow cooker mince pie fudge is one to try and if you don’t have a slow cooker you can always do it in the air fryer!

I love my fudge recipes, they do really well when I take them into work and people are always saying how tasty they are and most of the time people think I stopped into a local bakery to pick them up, I’m not sure if that’s an insult or compliment but either way, I’m happy.

Festive Mince Pie Fudge Recipe

Looking to make a festive recipe that’s super easy to make and bursting with festive flavour? This slow cooker mince pie recipe is just the thing to make. It has four ingredients unless you’re making two chocolate variants and then a few more. It’s easy to make as long as you follow the simple steps and you’ll want to eat it all but I assure you, one chunk is more than enough. You can even cut these fudge pieces into strips if you want.

I’ve made this mince pie fudge for a few years now and can easily say it’s one of my favourite festive recipes and as it takes me hardly any time it means I don’t have to fuss in the kitchen and I don’t have to put the dishwasher on several times!

Slow Cooker Mince Pie Fudge Recipe

The slow cooker mince piece fudge recipe is really easy to make, you don’t need to stay with it and you can get on with your activities while checking on it now and again to give it a stir. It doesn’t matter what slow cooker you have as they all work the same although if you have a small slow cooker you may need to cut back on the ingredients a little.

If you’re a busy person or work from hom then this slow cooker mince pie fudge is the perfect method for you, just make sure you check on it regular so that it doesn’t burn. I find setting an egg timer really helps and they’re fun!

Air Fryer Mince Pie Fudge Recipe

You can also easily make this as an air fryer mince pie fudge recipe. The thing I will say about doing this recipe in the air fryer is that you will have to stay with it. It doesn’t take as long as in the slow cooker but you won’t be able to get on with other stuff as you’ll need to stir it every couple of minutes to ensure it doesn’t burn and that everything melts evenly.

The air fryer fudge recipe is great if you have a free half an hour and want to just make something quick. It also reduces the amount of washing up you’ll have. Both versions of the recipe leave you with minimal dirty dishes but this one gives you even less.

so are you thinking about making an air fryer mince pie fudge recipe or the slow cooker mince pie fudge recipe?

The equipment I used it optimised to give me the best results with the least amount of hassle, which is why you’ll see me using silicone products more often. Silicone doesn’t rust and it’s a lot more robust to metal tins, it also makes any bakes easier to get out of the “tin”.
