Veganuary should come as no surprise to anyone by now. It comes around once a year just like your birthday or Christmas. I’m going to try making more vegan meals this year, it’s something I’ve been meaning to do but haven’t been able to get around to it. Now 2023 is here, I think it’s time to start.

This New Year I’ve decided to go on a mission for various snacks and more to help me with Veganuary. Snacking is a huge thing for me, especially when I’m at work, so if I can find vegan snacks, it’s perfect.

I’ve also decided to join the gym in the new year and attend with my partner who goes daily. That means I’m looking for some tasty vegan protein that doesn’t suck! Well, I found some and check below for what I’m using this Veganuary.

Vegan Snacks

Vegan snacks are great when you’re on the go. They’re normally full of protein due to the ingredients that go into them. All the snacks I’ve added into this post are super yummy and perfect for anyone who has decided to give Veganuary a try.

Pulsin Bars

I said snacks are one of the most important things I need right? When it comes to snack bars I’ve tried a few and hands down, Pulsin has to be the best. I’m sorry for any other bars I have talked about but I can’t get enough of Pulsin. That being said, my partner also loves them so I’m lucky to actually get some!

They’re affordable and tasty and you can get them on their website with their super easy to use shopping system. Personally, I would suggest anything with brownie in the title, their double choc fudge bar is my firm favourite.

Ohso Chocolate Treats!

My lunchbox is always full of yummy treats but we all know that isn’t healthy. I thought it was time to look for some little treats that are totally naughty but also vegan and healthier for me. That’s where Ohso came into it.

Ohso makes amazing chocolate that goes great into your lunches. These Ohso mini bars fit perfectly into my lunch, I have one a day and it’s a little healthier treat that I can truly enjoy. You can get Ohso on their website and I suggest you do!

Livia’s Nugglets

YUM! That was my first thought. MORE! Was my second, although obviously eat everything in moderation. I loved these quirky little nugglets. They’re bite-size so you won’t feel guilty afterwards and they’re enough to keep you going till your next meal.

They’re naturally vegan, full of flavour and great for car journeys as well. You can easily buy them on the Livia’s website, they’re affordable in comparison to other vegan snacks out there and I highly recommend them. They’re also great for children’s lunch boxes.

Purely Plantain Chips

Did you know a lot of the crisps I love, not vegan. These are called chips but can also be referred to as crisps, depending on your geological location. You can get these Purely plantain chips in various sizes, I’d suggest the smaller ones with lunch and the bigger ones when you’re travelling.

Grab some yummy vegan plantain chips from the Purely website and enjoy. My favourite flavour has to be nice and spicy, try it!

Vegan Foods

The Great British Porridge Co. Porridge Bundle

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I stand by that and will die on that hill if needed. That being said, how many times have you looked at cereal in the shops to find hardly any of it is vegan? I have, loads.

The Great British Porridge Company has you covered. Their vegan porridge comes in various flavours. You can buy it as a bundle on their website and the packaging is pretty neat as well. My favourite has to be the chocolate porridge, what’s yours?

Vegan Protein

I won’t lie, I tried quite a few vegan proteins for this post. I might be fairly new to the world of protein and using it for weight management but I know that you can never have enough and I like to keep my stocks diverse and tasty! Below are some that I really did love, I did get sent some terrible protein and that did not make the cut!

Pulsin Protein

Pulsin also does amazing vegan protein. You know how much I love Pulsin so it’s obvious I’d be trying out their vegan protein in the new year. From the three flavours below I have to say the chocolate flavour is the best, even if it’s pea protein!

Get some Pulsin vegan protein from their website, let me know what you think and hopefully, you’ll find a new vegan protein you love in 2023!

Bio-Synergy Protein

Bio-Synergy does various kinds of vegan protein so there’s something to suit everyone. Personally, I’ve been using their skinny protein in the new year, the vanilla is super yummy and doesn’t taste artificial at all. I am yet to use the peanut flavour but I have heard great things.

You can get their protein from their website along with various other products like multivitamins and more to keep you healthy!

Bioglan Superfoods Protein

With Bioglan you’re getting protein for every occasion, for balance, energy and with added collagen. Not only is their packaging colourful and amazing but their proteins taste amazing. I’ve been using their super protein and my sister stole the beauty protein and I can honestly say, we both love them!

You can get all their protein from their website. They have a varied range of proteins to pick from as well, I actually got some immune support protein powder from Bioglan for Christmas and I’m a huge fan.

The Protein Ball Co.

These could be considered a snack but I consider them a protein boost, a much needed one when I’m going to the gym daily. These protein balls are bursting with everything you need during Veganuary and they have to be some of the best tasting protein I’ve had in a while.

Get the protein balls on The Protein Ball co. website, you can buy them singularly or in packs. Personally, I’d say get multipacks so you don’t run out!

Ultimate Performance Vegan Protein Salted Caramel

Salted Caramel is one of my favourite flavours so you can bet I jumped to try this Ultimate Performance salted caramel vegan protein powder. I have only good things to say about it. The flavour is super yummy and you wouldn’t think it was a protein drink! I loved it so much that I got more for Christmas.

Get some of your own Ultimate Performance protein powder on their website. They have various flavours that you’re bound to love and if you try other flavours, let me know what you thought!

EFECTIV Vegan Protein

This vegan protein is exactly what it says, effective. One of the more affordable vegan proteins on the market and yet it works better than some of the most expensive proteins I have! It also tastes a whole lot better but you can always mix it with other flavours for an extra boost. Get your own tub from their website and let me know what you think!

Sci-Mx Nutrition Plant Protein Powder

I’m not going to lie, I used this plant protein powder first and I loved it. It’s affordable, does the trick and doesn’t taste too bad either. Salted caramel peanut is only one of the many flavours you can get on their website. If you’re looking for a new addition to your protein supply, get this one.

Optimum Nutrition Vegan Protein Bars

These protein bars are super yummy, easy to have on the go and work really well when you’re a gym bunny, like I’m trying to be! They’re high in protein of course, low in sugar, totally vegan and still taste great. You can get them from the Optimum Nutrition website, I’d suggest getting them in bulk, it’s both cheaper and makes sure you don’t run out.

Vegan Supplements

Wassen Supplements

I’ll be honest, I don’t normally go in for supplements. However, I got given these Wassen supplements to try out and I actually quite like them. My preference is the relax + unwind supplements, they’re great when I’m on the go all day at the gym, working and whatever I do after work. I’d totally suggest trying these, maybe take them with some multivitamins as well and boost your body’s natural defences.
