Slimming World Very Berry Overnight Oats

Eating healthy for breakfast can sometimes be a challenge, especially if you are busy in the mornings or have to get up that little too early and don’t fancy eating then. I know how much of a challenge that can be, so a coffee in the morning turns into a pastry or something naughty or you eat your lunch early and really mess up your day and staying on plan. Well I now have an option that will help keep you fully on plan and help you really kick start your day and that is with Slimming World Very Berry Overnight Oats.

 

Overnight oats are a perfect way to start the day, they need to be made the night before, stored in the fridge and then just quickly grabbing it on your way out of the door. Even thought the Slimming World Very Berry Overnight Oats is an on plan breakfast, the whole family can enjoy it. They are perfect for home, work, school, college and even university. What makes the Slimming World Very Berry Overnight Oats really stand out is that it is filling, packed full of goodness which will help you kick start your metabolism but the  taste fantastic and you can really get creative.

Instructions
  1. Weigh out all ingredients separately and have in a mason jar or similar (glass or plastic).
  2. Now you need to layer the ingredients, start by taking 1/3 of the oats and putting into the bottom of the jar, then 1/3 of the yogurt and the berries, repeat until all the ingredients has been used.
  3. Put the lid on the jar and store in the fridge until morning.
  4. Enjoy your Overnight Oats at home, work, school or university.

With the Slimming World Very Berry Overnight Oats, you can honestly be creative, you can change the fruit in it, add whatever you want. I find that using frozen fruit is a lot better for the overnight oats. The reason? Well it’s really simple, you only use what you need, frozen fruit lasts, is fresh, packed full of goodness and also Slimming World friendly. In terms of the jars, you can really use anything you want. I have used mason jars, jam jars and even a plastic soup mug with a lid, it all works well for the overnight oats. Whatever works for you, especially if you are on the go, you want something that will fit into your bag with ease.
