When you are making these Chocolate Easter Egg Rice Crispy Nest Baskets, you will need to use cupcake moulds. You can go and get the typical paper moulds but if you want to look at the long terms, then have a look at the silicone moulds, they can be used for these and also muffins, cupcakes and more. They can go in the oven, don’t burn and most importantly, they are reusable.

As you can see from my recipe, I have used rice crispys, you could use cornflakes, shreddies etc. If you fancy, you can use dark or white chocolate or even change the topping from mini eggs to hundreds and thousands or even the Mini Mix Up that is shown in the pictures, found in Aldi. What makes this recipe good is that all the ingredients can be found in Aldi and cost less than £3 and it will have made a lot more Chocolate Easter Egg Rice Crispy Nest Baskets than I actually made. So a perfect thrifty frugal family recipe.
